Our Heritage

Mayfield has evolved into its current form following the incorporation of Commodore International in 1980, which was grown into the fifth largest privately-owned Travel & Leisure Group in the UK, with an annual turnover exceeding £55m.

Commodore diversified into property investment in 2000, and then into property development in 2006 through the incorporation of Commodore Homes. Commodore further diversified into investment management in 2009 through the creation of Curzon Asset Management alongside a prominent Saudi merchant family as a 50/50 Joint Venture.

Commodore International was subsequently sold in 2011 for the highest EBITDA multiple achieved in its industry. Following this sale, the Group’s activities have been focused on property development, advisory, and investment management.
