48 Grange Walk comprised a former public house which Mayfield acquired in 2008 and subsequently obtained planning permission for a new build apartment block comprising 8 apartments which we completed in 2010.
46 & 47 Grange Walk comprised a row of mid-terrace houses that were individually purchased over a two-year period. The final purchase took the longest to realise as Mayfield undertook to locate an alternative property for the owner based on their very specific criteria. The upshot of this was that the interim time was utilized to secure planning permission in 2018 for a new build scheme of 9 apartments which was obtained pre-completion.
The subsequent development of the site was completed in 2020.
In 2021 planning permission was obtained for an airspace scheme comprising 5 penthouse apartments which spans both buildings. This consent also provided for the recladding of 48 Grange Walk in order that the completed development appeared as a single homogenous apartment building.
